Topstep vs My Funded Futures: Standard and Rapid 50K
The key difference is the funded loss floor: the reviewed Topstep XFA uses EOD trailing, while MFFU Rapid changes from EOD evaluation to an intraday funded floor. Entry-price arithmetic alone misses that change.
Does an EOD evaluation mean the funded account is EOD too?
No. MFFU Rapid’s reviewed evaluation and funded stages use different timing. Topstep’s XFA also changes its displayed balance and floor reference even though EOD timing remains.

One entry plus known activation
This hypothetical scenario assumes one evaluation entry, no reset and activation after passing. It excludes taxes, data, commissions and unconfirmed expenses. It is a known-fee subtotal, not a pass-cost estimate.
Which difference should drive the decision?
If your approach gives back unrealized gains within a session, inspect Rapid’s intraday floor before comparing its zero activation with Topstep’s monthly-plus-activation fees.
The detail most easily missed
Rapid has no funded consistency test in the reviewed configuration. That does not remove its buffer and payout conditions, or its evaluation consistency requirement.
Before choosing either
